Uber?

Does anyone here use Uber (or Lyft or taxis)? I think I'm nearing the end of my driving time and wonder how they work for anyone that uses them.

I never have used a company for a ride as both honey and I still drive, but my granddaughter had to use one a lot of times when her car was being fixed after an accident, and she had no trouble.  I was a bit scared but all worked fine for her.  She used Uber

Thanks for the great info OED.  That makes me feel better in case she has to use one in the future.
