What “old person” things do you do?

I have always talked to myself. If there is anything new about it in old age, l'd say I 'm less inclined to listen to myself.

Debbie says I have selective hearing also. I'm not entirely sure of this. I DO have a hearing loss and she knows this. Heck,I'm always saying "what?"

My ears always test remarkably well for my age and work history, but I'm always missing out on what's  being said in a conversation and asking for a repeat. Josi accuses me of inattention or selective hearing, but the ear doctor who tested me called it a neurological disability. I can hear the noise quite well, but struggle to filter the information out of the background.
