TBD

TBD on Ning

Do you make New Years resolutions; do you still make them?  I started about 2 years ago to lose weight.  I've done OK even kept it level for almost two years, then in September My NP decided that she wanted to cut one of my Diabetic medications.  I decided all sugar had to go.  Three exceptions, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years.  Got to 205 as of December 16, I'm willing to bet I put on a few with the Christmas New Year thing.  I'm guessing 4 or 6 lbs.  Goal is to hit 200 and then reset the goal to 175.  I get pretty driven when I start something like this but one esception and I'm back to getting in trouble.  Tell us if you have any New Year Resolutions.

I no longer make New Year Resolutions.  I pretty well take each day as it comes and try to do what is best for me, my family  and my environment all the time.  I needed to lose one pound to reach my weight loss goal until my youngest Daughter came for a few days visit two weeks ago and I gained 4 lbs.  I have lost back all but two lbs to reach the goal that I was hoping to hit by New Years.  I may not reach the goal date but I will reach it within a few days.

I really don't bother, but I did eat the last cookie today, and will get back to my usual eating habits tomorrow. I've put on about 2 pounds, but probably most of it is water weight so should be gone in a week. Just finished shoveling 3" of snow on the parking pad and cleaned off the car, so that should put a dent in it.

Nah, never did

I don't really make them anymore. Last year Mine was to lose weight and I did lose 80 pounds. I did good thru Thanksgiving, but I had been exposed to Covid so I decided to not go around my family. I've made up for it this Christmas and New Year. I've had cookies, pies, candy and all kinds of crap. I have to start back on my diet this next week. I would still like to lose another 50 pounds but guess I'll see how well I do.

I've gone almost two days without ordering anything from Amazon.

That's a good thing. I just received a package from them in the mail today.

I placed an order today.  I hadn't ordered anything since the Monday before Christmas.

I was hoping to be done with all the bad ideas today but Pete's going to make blueberry muffins tomorrow.  How could I pass up on those.  That's it though until possibly Easter.  East Texas Granny you've done so very well losing all that 80 lbs of weight.  I'm at about a net of 35 lbs with what I've gained back.  You'd think I'd stop but sometimes I think like a child with baked goodies.

I didn't "officially" make any resolutions but I was thinking New Years day that I really need to practice piano more and get back to working on my songs. I unexpectedly lost about 5 pounds and that has inspired me to try lose more. A good way to do it would be to get back to my dancing, albeit alone.

Day one of my diet for the new year. Hope I can stay on it.

I try to behave and do well for a few weeks but I slip up. Like AA you start again with your one day chip. I've never been to AA but have family who have. You'll do it and determined to also.

Thanks Helen.
