We're going to eat prime rib and watch movies (actually probably just one movie, neither one of us can stay awake 'till midnight anymore, lol).

We will be celebrating with a toast to the good news from the grandson and his fiancee.
We have known for several weeks, but they just went public on Facebook today. It will be our first Great Grand.

Congratulations PTB. I have 11 great-grandkids and it is still exciting to celebrate and welcome each one. All of this from 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

I guess I would say, "I'm not. I will probably be in bed between 10 & 11. There haven't been any fireworks so far as we are having heavy rains in temps in the high 30s. We have gotten over 3 inches since yesterday morning and more to come.

I had lobster mac and cheese and a glass of white wine for dinner, went to bed early, watched That's Entertainment on TCM and had a great view of some spectacular local fireworks from my bedroom window. The midnight fireworks woke up the cat and he walked all over me, but I just ignored the little bugger and slept on.
