Christmas Music

I'm sitting here listening to Christmas music.  I find it gets me into the mood.  Of course I had to listen to my Baltimore Christmas CD.  Biggest song is Crabs for Christmas.  Now I'm switching to other music.  It' puts me in such a good mood.  Are you listening to any at home or in the car?

I've got a Christmas playlist in Amazon music I listen to a lot this time of year. We've also got xFinity cable Tv and they have a Sounds of the Season music channel but it's not that great. One thing about the Amazon playlist: I'm able to pick & choose exactly which songs I want; I'm particularly partial to Carol of the Bells, got 3 versions of it on the playlist, also it's my phone ringtone, lol.

We finally broke down and signed up for Amazon Prime, so we now have Amazon music. I listen to a classical  Christmas station. I am so tired of the regular radio music by Thanksgiving.

I  haven't started listening to Christmas music yet. I have been listening to Chanukah music for the past eight nights. I have a Christmas playlist on Spotify and will be listening to it soon.

Dave and I have been listening to it if and on since Thanksgiving. I agree the Sounds of the Season isn't a great source. I have an Irish Carols CD I love. And one by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.(speaking if Carol of the Bells, officerripley) I also have a 33-1/3 vinyl of German Carol's my parents had. Lovely. They had a really pretty concert the other night on PBS...Christmas at Belmont. Really festive. Great choral and orchestrations.

Yep, the Trans-Siberian is one of the versions of Carol of the Bells I've got, love it! ;-)

If I'm in the car (that would be twice a week) I listen to Christmas stuff, otherwise, I haven't  as yet. I've got too much on my mind to get in the mood, even though I'm doing cards, mostly as "proof of life" so no one thinks I'm dead, finished baking today, and mailed the goody boxes, which may or may not get to their destinations. I've got covid on my mind, worrying about my family in CA.
