Yes, indeed, heal fast, Helen and thanks Syble for keeping us posted!
Welcome Home, Helen. So glad you are home and doing well. Take care and don't rush things.
All the pain in my hip, lower back down my legs into my ankle that burned all the time and pretty much kept me from walking is all gone. They did say that when I finish the pain killers it could come back for up to six weeks, which is from the irritation of the nerve and the part of the Vertebra they cut to release the nerve. At the moment I am so excited. Better than Christmas morning.
This is good news. Wishing Helen a speedy recovery.
Yes, I received an email from her. Glad all went well Helen! Welcome home.
Speedy recovery-
Good news. Rest as much as needed Helen, hope things continue to go well.
Thanks everyone. I am doing well. Expected soreness for some Percocet seems to do the trick. Slept good last night. Using the cane in the house and there's no sign of the awful pain I've had for over a year and it appears that the surgery wasn't in the exact spot I thought, but the spot I was worried about that was getting sore. Now it all makes more sense.
I am sitting around but have to get u p regulary and walk around the house. approximately a six week full recovery.
Good to hear from you, Helen. We are all pulling for you and sending you good vibes and wishes and prayers.
Standing up from sofa and putting legs on Hassock seem to be the most painful. Pete has to put my shoes, ankle brace and socks on for me, but otherwise I'm feeling pretty good. Maybe it's the pain killers, but something is working. Everytime i get up to go to the bathroom I walk all over the house especially the main part I'm supposed to not sit more than 20 minutes without getting up and moving. Lasix is keeping me compliant this after noon.
Yay from me too! Glad you're doing good!
