Small or large

Aside from Covid, which changes everything we, would you prefer a large party or a small one, if someone was going to have a party for you?

Small, I don't like large crowds or parties, too impersonal.

For thirty years I was married into a very large family and it was so much fun seeing everyone would get together.  I miss that.  three of them passed away.

It would be hard to have a small party (according to what you consider small) without leaving out close family members.

I'm okay with 20 to 30 people but no more than that.  We usually have around 20 people at our Holiday dinners. (That was before the Covid shut-down)
