Cleaning house for the holidays

Aside from regular cleaning do you go crazy really cleaning before the holidays?

Since I won't be here for Christmas, I don't plan to go crazy. I will do a little spiffing up so that my decorations look nice.

Can't imagine why. Don't expect anyone to come calling. Did tidy up for Thanksgiving when I had 3 guests (my social bubble), but thus far, no plans for Christmas.

No, just regular cleaning as it's just gonna be the two of us and the house is always kept clean.
