How often do you check your phone?

My phone is always on me so I have no reason to check it unless it rings. It is never turned off so I rarely miss calls or texts unless I happen to leave it laying somewhere which rarely happens.

I have a simple flip phone and only my husband knows the number so I guess I can say never

It's a flip phone, so only when it rings and periodically to see if it needs charging.

slI have an android and am used to it ringing for phone calls and dinging for messages.   Now my phone rings and of course it dings and makes other noises to remind me to take pills and other things that need done.  So, I'm checking it often.  Also Slotomania sends messages that it's time for free coins.

I had to start turning my text notifications off at night because some people would text me after my "bedtime" and when I'm sleep, I can hear the notifications but sometimes can't rouse myself to turn them off. Sometimes I just leave it off during the day too so I'll check my phone a couple of times to see if I got any texts. I've told my loved ones, if it's something important or something you want me to know right away..don't text me...call me. I also check it if a call comes in using the default ring tone to see if it's someone I want to talk to.
