Rain, Rain go away!

It's warm here but it's raining all morning.  I came out to the living room just as the sun was coming up.  Usually if there are clouds you will see the sun light up the sky behind them and it's so pretty, but not today. The mountains that are usually there were in the clouds.  Are you getting rain over this weekend?  Do you ever watch the sun come up?

Today is the first time here in Florida that the sun is shining. The last few days I opened the door to take the dog out and it's either raining or the rain just stopped and the ground is soaked. Before we got a dog I didn't care but walking her in the rain is a pain.

Our rain will start Monday.   I love to watch a sunrise or sunset.

The thing about rain is...you don't need to shovel it. Here on the other hand...6" of snow on the ground and about 20 degrees. Later when it warms to about 25 degrees, I'll go out and do some shoveling, but since this is an early snow, I've got to get out my boots and other winter gear first. It will be near zero tonight and tomorrow night, but by Thursday it will be back in the mid-40's. Don't know what happened to Autumn...leaves are still on the trees and the cottonwoods have barely started to color.
