They make little gadgets to help thread needles because I have the same problem.
I can see well enough...lacking in manual dexterity from the neuropathy is the problem.
Between poor vision and a slight tremor, its a challenge. But I have more patience than Josi, do she always comes to me for help.
I'm having trouble threading needles too; heard that if you hold the needle in front of a white background (paper, even), that it'd be easier & it does seem to help. Hadn't heard though about the gadgets, though; I'll have to check into them.
I have a lamp with a magnifier that helps to thread the needle but I use the tape to hem. I sew on buttons, not much else.
I bought a bunch of large needles with large openings. PTB I have the same challenge with the tremors but yesterday they were behaving. I just couldn't see it. I used to have a sewing machine. When I first got married someone gave it to me and I made my maternity clothes and all the baby clothes for my first son. I enjoyed that except I had trouble reading patterns. Fortunately Pete was good at it and once I did it, I was fine.
