No plans other than staying put. There was a positive Covid case here in the village at the local bar so one never knows who may have it. I am glad we have our shopping done for the next couple of weeks.

Riding the lawn mower sounds like fun. My son is taking me to Walmart tomorrow morning.  Yaaay!  I need a few things and trying to order them online for him to pick up was a bust.  I was going to take the train to the waterfront park because it's supposed to be around 79 but I'll have to see what time we get back. There's people walking, riding their bikes and walking their dogs. It inspires me to do my walking.

Going to my oldest grandson's house tomorrow for dinner. Apparently he just got a smoker and is preparing some pork. Will play with his new dog. I need to brew a rye IPA some day soon.

No more lawn mower riding until next May for me. I went to a friend's house today and we smoked some salmon...thought we best get it done as today will be our last 70 degree day..dropping into the 50's tomorrow with rain. When I got back I used the shop-vac to do some cleaning in the mudroom and made sure the little milk-house heater was working for when the weather gets cold (keeps the pipes from freezing). Tomorrow, I'm going to check with Walgreen's to see if they got the senior flu vaccine (didn't have it on Monday) and if so get over there and get my shot. Sunday, I need to take it easy...I hope. Pretty exciting life.

No plans except try to get more work done on the house before leaving to go back to NC on Thursday.  Did get the big freezer defrosted by the guys that fixed the kitchen floor - so great of them and they didn't charge me for all the hard work done in two days.  I still haven't gotten a hold of another contractor to fix the front door, as my son hasn't been able to get in contact with him.  Needs to get his truck inspected and since it's the holiday, that won't happen til Tues.  Time has run out!

Didn't get to ride the lawn mower and not sure I will now.  Rained all day and is still going strong.  It was high yesterday and will be really high now, so may need to Just get it done.  I need to learn to ride it to use to get to the new building.  Just shut the blade off.

Trimming back some house plants & repotting some succulents.  Then this afternoon I'll be watching the NASCAR races.

Just did a book discussion on Zoom with some ladies from our breakfast group.

The book was "Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" very good book.

No luck on the flu shot...Walgreen's hasn't got it in yet. Did take at least 6 cat naps yesterday...don't know why I was so sleepy. Used some of my smoked salmon for a frittata for breakfast this morning, and then made chicken tortilla soup for a few lunches this week. Cool weather is here...maybe 50 today (dusting of snow on the mountain tops), but may go out this afternoon and clean up some of the garden clutter. The hard freeze is coming mid-week...we're talking 25 degrees.

Pulled pork dinner at grandson's house was a big success for the new smoker. What was especially entertaining was watching a large group of children in his neighborhood outside for hours playing games that I thought were forgotten history: hide-and-seek, redlight/greenlight, etc.

Having lunch with my sister - haven't seen her for the two months I have been here
