When you eat ice cream, do you prefer it alone or do you want toppings?  What kind of toppings do you like and do you like ice cream on top of cake, pie, or cobbler?

Toppings, no; butterscotch syrup, maybe, depends on type of ice cream. Yes for a side of cake mixed in.

I like walnuts and whipped cream on top depending on what flavor I have. I love vanilla ice cream on top of chocolate cake.

I don't think there's any way of eating ice cream I don't like, but I've been on a kick here lately of vanilla ice cream with some unsweetened dark cocoa powder and about 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract sprinkled on top.

I may have to try that.

That sounds good.

My favorites are vanilla ice cream with cherries on top, whipped cream if available or the same on top of warm cherry pie.

Love all kinds of Ice Cream but don't eat it much, maybe once a year. Coffee is a favorite with coffee syrup whipped cream on it. Live vanilla ice cream on pie or cake.

If it's vanilla, I'd like hot fudge but I never buy vanilla. My fave is Kroger's premium Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle...straight up.

Funny you should ask.  I managed to keep 2 almost pints of Haagen Daz in my freezer for more than two weeks. I had some on top of lemon pie yesterday and today. Those personal size lemon pies were also in the fridge for a couple of weeks. I usually prefer my ice cream plain but for some reason I had a taste for it on top of the pie yesterday and today.

Love vanilla ice cream on warm fruit pie, but not on cake. I like something crunchy in my ice cream, so if it's plain vanilla, I might sprinkle some chocolate chips over it. Also pretzel pics or cookie crumbs. Love crumbled waffle cones over top.

Remembering back to childhood, we'd have tin roof sundaes...vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and peanuts on top.

I usually eat it alone. My preference is vanilla fudge.
