You know, every time a spam or phishing email shows up in my inbox, I think they can't get any stupider. And then the next one comes and proves me wrong. Got one this morning; it's from a Peter Olu and the Subject line is:
Think I should reply (JK) and tell 'em I'm not sure? I mean, the Great Barrier Reef is dead now and I ain't feelin' too good myself. Sometimes if I'm bored, I'll hover the mouse over the link they want you to click on to claim your millions (or unfreeze your "account" or whatever); I did hover over the link in this one and it would've taken me to sofasales.com. Pure ol' dee stupid, but I guess they unfortunately do catch some people, sigh.

Ok, Aggie; thanks.
I made the mistake of clicking on "unsubscribe me" on one and in the next 5 minutes I got over 30 repeats of the junk mail in question. I clicked on 'block' on everyone that came thru and finally they stopped.
At least I always know where to go if ever I should worry about ED. I don't know where those come from, I stay far, far away from any sites like that.
Hey...I'm a woman and I get inundated by those too.
The standard advice Officer is to never click on a link from someone you don't know because it might install malware. Security experts also advise against replying to those emails although sending back something funny or annoying is tempting. And finally, report them or label them as spam.
