we just had a tropical storm or hurricane maybe.there's still lots of places without power and no one seems to be cleaning up the downed trees.there's closed roads everywhere.

Wow, I just came home to find large limb broke off large pecan tree next the house.  Missed the house but landed on my propane tank.

Real retirement. (Technically retired 15 yrs ago; but due to family, estate-settling problems, still feels like I'm working.)

Apartment remodeling projects. I need new floors throughout the apartment and I desperately need new kitchen cabinets. I've been searching for just the right materials for literally years. We even went to Lowes last year but their pickings were slim. don't know how soon I can realistically expect to get startedl if not this fall or winter, the least I could do is start painting the apartment. Then maybe by spring I can choose the materials and who will do the remodel.
