Read two terrific books this week
The first was Nicolas Sparks EVERY BREATH. If you enjoy some time with soul mates and African safaris, this is for you!
The next is DEAD MAN RUNNING by Steve Hamilton. This was a super good nail bitter about a most calculating serial killer.
I've been without TV, internet and phone for two days! Had a fantastic ATT tech today who rewired some of the house and now am back to normal, TYJ!!!
Are you getting any reading done during this busy season? Tomorrow I head to Central Library to refresh my TBR stack!

For a change of pace, I am reading Jon Meacham ' s Soul of America. Wow, what an interesting take on our history! I think the object of the book is to make us aware of all that our nation has survived. I highly recommend this book.
I did read John Hart's latest, The Hush, and was not disappointed.
As we head into the busy holiday season, here's hoping we all manage to squeeze in a book or two.
I am reading tons, but have trouble remembering the titles and authors as I flip from book to book. Glad you have your internet and TV back, being in touch with the world is so comforting sometimes. Sometimes it is nice to leave the world behind and go live in a book.
My F2F book club read Tara Westover's memoir, Educated. This book has been voted the #1 book of 2018 by several different groups. It is the gripping story of a young lady raised by a survivalist family in Idaho, who leaves her family in pursuit of an education and earns a PhD from Cambridge. It's an amazing story; difficult to read at times, but very inspirational.
And now for the sheer pleasure of the read, I just started the new Louise Penny novel, Kingdom of the Blind.
