false (let the floodgates be opened:  I loved that get-up so much that I bought shorts like that later.  They were navy blue short-shorts with elastic around the legs.  The shirt I could take or leave; it was just a short-sleeved white shirt with one pocket.  I think it had a pocket.  Of course, they had one's name embroidered on them but that was only for the schools.  Gee, they were nice.)
