False. Mom kept searching for the Andrews Sisters on the radio.

as a kid, you used to sneak on the stairs to listen to the Late Show when you were supposed to be asleep.

You know, I honestly can't remember. I must have watched it at some point because I remember the theme song.

You had a crush on Maynard G. Krebs from the The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

False, but I liked Fonzi in Happy Days
You once jumped the Shark

Girl, everything about me has jumped the shark! :>)

You owned a poodle skirt.

True! (black felt, and a circular skirt with pink roses all over it, and starched crinolines)

You knew what it meant to wear a circle pin on the left side.

True, although different regions assigned different meanings. (I was a Navy brat, so I moved a lot.) Are you thinking of the "done it/haven't done it" symbolism?  In that case, I'm definitely wearing my pin on the right side. :>)  Hooooraaaay!!!

You still have at least one circle pin.

False, I haven't seen one lately

(In my area, CT at the time, the "done it" side was left)

You use beautiful scarves for curtains and to decorate the house, and for other art purposes.

At times I have done.

(Interesting about the pin--the " done it" side was right in Southern CA)

You have walked the beach for hours alone enjoying the solitude and looking for sea glass or shells or agates (if you happened to be in WA).

True. That would be along long Island sound off the coast of CT, or over in RI. (love the smell and sounds of the sea).

(ps: I may be wrong about the pin side. I can't remember now)

You'd rather live in an urban spot, where you can see plays and concerts, shop 'til you drop.

Oh, that's a tough one. I'm gonna have to fudge it. :>)  I lived in big cities a lot--LOVE the access to cultural events, the cultural mix, just the general buzz; BUT, I need nature, lots of it, and the peace and quiet. So, while working, my favorite thing was to live in an apartment/condo smack dab in the middle of a major city and have  a home in the country. Vice versa when retired.

In many ways, you prefer animals to people.

(love the exurbs, good opportunities nearby, and space out back to plant stuff)

True. Animals tend to be simple and pure, harboring few ulterior motives.

You were (are) always last to be picked for the softball team

False

You prefer fruit pie to cake.
