I planted a bunch of plants in a planter box at my work. I had called a friend and asked her what plants did well in direct sunlight. She belongs to the master gardeners here in town and it got her thinking of how she could help. She responded by coming out and bringing some plants from her own garden as well as from Lowes! I know very little about plants really. I was ecstatic! We planted the box with geraniums, petunias, some kind of short daisies...gerber daisies (sp?). Well, I am happy about it all.                   What are you planting?

I have herbs....sage, thyme, sweet basil, Thai basil, oregano, rosemary, mint and parsley. Peppers...jalapeno, cayenne, and Thai peppers. Roma tomatoes and cherry tomatoes...maybe Big Boys. Green onions and lemon grass. Usually Snapdragons, Petunias, Dianthus, and Claibrachoa...or Moss Roses. I am planting some assorted wildflowers under our tree out front. Dave wants a new Knock-Out rosebush this year. I have 2 Jasmine plants, and a Poinsettia that's still going strong. I have a trellis I am not using; I'm thinking Manzanillas or Honeysuckle. I have pink tulips under our tree so far...with other bulbs coming up. I am thinkiing about Boomerang Lilac bushes in the front.
