I am intrigued by "The Vinedresser Notebook" and "Dear Luke, We Need to Talk, Darth"

I always try to read authors who are new to me, at least once a week.  At present of the 5 books I`m currently reading 3 are by authors I`m unfamiliar with.  This mix of old and new keeps my reading fresh.  Does anybody else have some ideas?

I agree this is a great suggestion.  I love to read mystery and suspense - but after awhile, I get a little tired and switch to something entirely different.  Many books have been suggested here - so very easy to pick from by all the variety that others have read.  I have a loooong list of books to be read and hope to outlive the list-LOL.  Just finished the book Neverhome and now I am reading Walk in My Soul.  The first was about the civil war - a woman who posed as a man to fight.  The second book is about an Indian girl.  Hope to keep on finding more different stories to be read.  Thanks to all of you.

I get a lot of free books from B&N and bookbub, is a good way to find new authors. Will try a book and find I like the author and it send me on search for more of their books.

Both of these look like very interesting books.
