I had put a comment on here a few hours ago and saw an X to the right of it. When I clicked on the x I expected it to bring up a box first before doing anything but it deleted my post. Then I saw this add a discussion instead of comment and realized I should have posted here anyway. LOL
So here goes again: I went to a conference this weekend and two of the speakers are also authors with many books between them. Deborah Smith Pegues is an MBA who writes about financial and personal success in the business world and in the private world from a Christian perspective but her books are applicable to those who do not prescribe to the Christian way of life too. Lisa Bevere is a Christian writer and she teaches women from that perspective to be strong in life and in Gods ways.

OK, I guess I also am still adjusting to TBD after being unable to get into to comment because my computer got messed up in June. So I finally got in today after getting a new password, and ended up putting my comment on a discussion from way back. The gist of my comment was that a group of us went to see Louise Penny in Omaha last month, and it was a delightful talk and well worth driving the 2 hours to get there! I am just starting her new book--I made myself wait until after my birthday to begin. Thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes!!
