"Syfy has been teasing an adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke’s sci-fi classic Childhood’s End since 2013, but the project stalled when the network made some programming changes. But according to Deadline, Syfy is gearing back up on what will be a six-hour miniseries."

Childhood's End being one of my very favorite SF novels, I've been watching and hoping for a film version of it for years; rather, hoping for a big-budget film version. But if Syfy does end up doing this, all I can do is hope for the best I guess.

I don't know. Syfy did pretty good on one of my favorites. Frank Herbert's "Dune". Syfy does on occasion, have it's moments of inspiration> :-)
