"Natchez Burning" was a long but great read, Mandy. Hope you enjoy it as well! When is the next book anticipated to be out? I didn't realize it was part of a trilogy.
Here are Iles' books in order. I started with "Spandau Pheonix" some years ago, a great story about the imprisonment of Rudolph Hess (Iles was born and raised in Germany), and have enjoyed his legal thrillers subsequently placed in Natchez where he currently lives. I spent a couple of days exploring the city and nearby Vicksburg, after a ride down the Natchez Trace Parkway. It looks like a book is planned each of the next two years.

Dear Rapa - so sorry about your DH - I hope this trip to the hospital will get him on the mend. I know this has been a trying time for you both. Mandy thanks for the list on this author - I have not read him but now have him on my list. Sounds very good. A good book for the winter reads when the snow is deep. Learn so much from everyone here. Thanks to all.
Just looked on Amazon and his book - True Evil is $1.99 today - and I already had bought it for winter read - LOL.
Sorry Guys. Not going to be much time for me to read this month.I'll be participating in NANOWRIMO's Summer writer's "camp." Their summer programs are a bit more flexible than the fall challenge, so I still might squeeze one in.
You know me Rapa, Roscoe is always with me! LOL!
Have fun with the NANOWRIMO. I did it for 8 years but still haven't edited my last book which I wrote three years ago. I'll have to check into the summer camp.
Mandy, there's usually two sessions to work with during the spring and summer. The first one was in April this year, July is the second. The nice part is that the summer ones let you set your own goal. You can set it as high or low as you think you can manage. The November one is always set at the 50,000 words in 30 days. I love the challenge. It keeps me on my toes. LOL!
Wow, Gloria, small world, I just got 1 of my fave writers enewsletter & he's going to be at NANOWRIMO; his name is Jamie Sheffield, he writes the Tyler Cunningham mysteries which I just love!
