My sweet Rocky has only destroyed one thing in 13+ years......he chewed the board at the top of my staircase because my son locked him in the basement while he was gone.....and there was a bad thunderstorm. Poor Rocky tried to chew his way out of the basement out of fear. He hates thunder. My son learned the hard way not to lock him downstairs anymore.

I haven't had a cat since the last one shredded the couch.

My new shepherd ate my gardening sneakers lol.  Probably should have known better to leave both of them outside at the same time.

A few years ago.  I had a bag of groceries in the front seat and parker (dog) was in the back.  While I was driving home he must have leaned over a grabbed the frozen pizza out of the bag. I didn't hear or see a thing.  When I let him out of the back seat I found the half eaten frozen pizza on the floor.  He acted like it was no big deal.   My cat has never shredded or destroyed anything.  She does stare at me a lot, I feel like she is plotting something.

This seriously is the best video I have ever seen.

my dog does the same thing when he gets caught doing something wrong.

The only house animal we've ever had was a kitten who loved to climb up inside the curtains and slide down claws first.  If you were outside, you could see where the curtain was shredded (just that one window curtain for some reason) but it didn't show from the inside.  Nevertheless, all our other dogs and cats were outside pets.

I have one dog that will steal food, he came that way his former owner warned us. He will destroy his own toys after he's had them for awhile it takes a few months before he kills them. Some are his favorite and he won't kill those, we feel lucky he still plays with toys since he's almost nine.

The other two are non destroyers, they don't bother anything. Tule will kill gophers now if she can.
