"Neat-o" & "Chido" (which is the Spanish equivalent of neat-o)

"Just between you and me and the lamppost."  This is left over from the phrases passed down in the family.  No telling how many generations.  It's an actual old saying, but who still says it?  My family does.

"Make y'self useful."  Leftover from parenting days, but I still say it.

Not an old saying, but remember - if your nose itches, someone's coming with a hole in his britches?

How about - if you break bread when you already have bread, someone's coming hungry?

Awesome, every time I say it I just cringe.

Uh-oh, do people not still say that?  Geez, I think people still say that, don't they?  I certainly hope so.

I feel like it's been around a long time, maybe it's overused.

I say "behoove" way too often, and I get laughed at by the younger folk!

I'm laughing, I haven't heard that in a long time.

Next week, I'm going to get organized.

lol@behoove....lol
