TBD on Ning

I have not received any posts from Bookaholics in several days.  What's up?  Has this site bitten the dust too?

For those looking for boomeon the site is boomeon.com, the one mentioned in this page is incorrect

I do more reading than posting too, I guess.  My current fiction read is "The Edge of the Sky" by Drusilla Campbell.  For nonfiction I'm reading "The American Way of Eating" by Tracie McMillan - both are good so far.

Phyl, hope your recovery goes well!

I've been on Boomeon too - doesn't seem user-friendly yet and not much going on, it seems.  Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to the navigation there and waiting for more groups.

I too read more than I post, but always enjoy the suggestions to read. Just finished Cracks in the side walk-pocket change

and jubilees journey, all by Betty Lee Crosby, the last two are a series. I was on Boomens, don't find it user friendly at all, and it soon fills your email box at home with useless information, tried to drop out of it, but the "QUIT" link just leads you in a loop. So deletes as much info as it would allow, but found another email in my mail today.

JOANNE...thanks for the inquiry...I said "hello" with a personal list of everyone's Screen-name that had posted on the March Book Topic. And noted several missing active posters with a BOLO(be on the look out). I am so used to personal connections on my SparkPeople Teams. I know it is not fair to compare ON-LINE forums. Boomeron? Joined...very little that connects to me.

RAPA, CARCI and faithful posters...I really appreciate how you have been consistent in maintaining the dynamics of BOOKOHOLICS after the demise of EONS. It is often like pushing a huge rock up hill...as I have been a founder and a Moderator at eDiets and Sparkpeople Groups and Teams.

I will drop by from time to time...probably at the end of each month rather than the frequency of the past 6 months. If anyone comes across a HOT book that you think I would like: caroL2L at aol.com is one of my email connections. Love the current event type mysteries along with survival in wilderness...CJ BOX who I am "friends" with on Facebook and his new book should be released soonly. Best wishes.~ct/mellowgal

I don't get to either post or read as much as I'd like, lol.
