I would say Philippine politics is a mix of Circus Solei, pickpocket row, a very bad "B" movie, and viewing a mix of psychiatric patients with severe disorders who have escaped and are now cleaned up,dressed up and ready to fool anyone unwise enough to listen to them and believe what they say.
hahahahhahahahah LOL @your response. My mom would throw a hissy fit if she heard that. I come from a family of politicians on her side. My grandfather (her dad) was the town major as well as the lead mayor in the Bicol region at one point. He died of a heart attack while running for governor. Several of my uncles were vice mayors. You should have seen my wedding there in 1990. It was made into a political alliance-making arena. The governor was in attendance as my sponsor. I guess that was one reason I was frog marched into a wedding. My relatives needed an excuse for making political alliances. I must say they benefited tremendously from that particular alliance. To think I just went to the Philippines on a vacation and ended up returning home married....not a very healthy start.
Philippine politics is all child's play imo.
