Thanks, Steve. Hopefully, I will. That's kinda whatnI like about the train, though; you just never know what will happen this time. Once I got stuck with a seatmate who hadn't seen a bar of soap in months, and I had tomhide in the observation deck all night. Once I had a weird guynin front of me that kept getting up and standing by my seat, mumbling to himself. Once a crewmember was taken off the train at an unscheduled stop because he'd had a stroke. You just never know. But on the other side of the coin....I met a lady and a couple that I still keep in touch with, and I met a young man who had just come back from working with the Peace Corps in Africa......and a French woman whose parents were there when the Allies liberated France. Also a lawyer for the government. All made lovely dinner company. I love taking the train.

Karin, have a nice and safe trip home.  I hope you get a nice seat mate.  One that talks just enough to keep you company, but only to you and other people, not himself.  You've been gone a long time.  Your son will be happy to see you.

I don't know about my son, but my dog will be happy to see me. :-). Actually, my son does miss me. He has no one to talk current events, politics and science with when I'm gone. His wife is clueless. Not dumb...just disinterested. Strange match. They say opposites attract, right?

The dog will definitely be happy to see you.  I'm sure your son will too.  There's so many people that seem mismatched.  My oldest son told me he fell in love with his girlfriend because she doesn't nag and she likes football.  Now their son has her going to wrestling.  My son is in ecstasy.  I was totally mismatched with my ex.

Tim, I think you've got a plan there.  It's going up to 55 over the weekend. Really weird weather, but I'll take the warmer weather even for a few days.  I put the trash out earlier and it hurt to breathe.
