Music for me too :) I love all kinds of music. I like to browse antique stores, and even Good Will (you can find the most interesting things there sometimes).

Hi Kim! Hi Tim! Hi Truckie!! Seashelly!!!! Alright, this is a great day alright. Getting to hear from friends we don't always get to see  :)) :))

I like to sketch, and so sometimes just sitting down and working on a drawing is satisfying. I like to listen to those books on CD and get the most fun out of it. Going for a walk is nice. Like Kim, I find going to a Starbucks and relaxing a real treat. .....Music is my number 1 escape though. Movies can be as enthralling as book reading if you immerse yourself and allow yourself to absorb it.

LSD

That stands for Long Sunday Drive, right? ;-)

yea,of course

I like talk radio too Johnnie.....There is alot of amusement to be had...lol.

I have trouble sleeping at night without the radio on. Coast to Coast is my fav.

Ditto on that.

If I don't have that distraction, then I start thinking about all the things in my life that apparently, I can't forget.  I'd rather have a nightmare, at least those aren't normally true.

My everyday escape include hugs from my wife, and my grandson. Yes, those are mini/micro escapes, but they are very important to me. Other everyday escapes include a short nap, and my Kindle. Once every couple of years (If I'm lucky) is a few days at the beach. (not really a beachy dude, but my wife loves it, and I just like getting away from the normal routine once in a while)

Books. I can really get caught up in a really good book.....a mystery, or maybe one of those Tom Clancy political espionage things. Or a well-written biography or historical novel. I am reading "Killing Jesus" right now; I've already read "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Kennedy". I like to go to Barnes and Noble, too. Word to the wise, Kim.....if you don't wish Indians to snicker.....it's just Chai Latte.....to say Chai tea to an Indian is like saying, "Tea tea". :-) Just an FYI. My Indian daughter-in-law set me straight on that one! Just like my Thai daughter-in-law set me straight about the word, "Oriental". Oh well! I am never too old to learn. I also like to put a favorite cd on and sing along. If it's a good day, I might even dance to it. I need the exercize.
