Critics? . . . Go Figure

I finally saw "After Earth" a movie that some critics blasted. No, it not the greatest sci fi movie ever made. It's not a great film and it's not a bad one. It's just a good movie.

For me, a good movie, is one that can hold my complete attention for the entire movie. "After Earth" succeeded in doing this for me.  This is just your basic 'boy meets world' or coming of age story. Not really a bad movie. I recommend it.

However, I'm still waiting for another really great film from M. Night Shyamalan. "Signs" for me, was his last great movie.

i liked his movie Unbreakable a lot too, the thinking fan's superhero movie.
