Weekend is here!

I'm looking forward to this Sunday. A good friend of mine is going to be in town for the day. We're going to a model train show that we do 3-4 times a year. What are the rest of you going to be doing?

I've never lived in one place that long. My childhood we were always moving and when I was married we lived in one place 8 years and one neighborhood, but two different houses for 12 years.

Watching football and the World Series. Awaiting the birth of grandchild #8. My daughter is due in a week or so, but I don't think she'll make it that long. I may be the one to drive her to the hospital as her husband is working this weekend and thru Wednesday.

Johnnieboy, I'll bet you're excited. I don't know if you've ever had a newborn grandchild around all the time before, but I've loved every minute of the last year with my granddaughter. Good luck to all of you.

Yeah, keeping warm has really been a challenge this week. What are we going to do in January when it's really cold? Maybe go visit Steve in Florida

I'm 67 years old. In those 67 years, I have moved 39 times. And it's not the last time I'll move; my son is anxious to retire early and get out of here. I don't know where I will go from here. I guess a lot of that will depend on my state of health.

I have a friend staying over tomorrow night, and we are going to a Halloween party out in the country on Sunday.....so I guess it'll be a pretty enjoyable weekend.

Maria, I'll take 69 degrees in the morning. Sure would beat the 30's we've been having in the mornings and I don't even get up very often.
