So, we move on, beyond bedtime stories into the real work that has to be done in less than a week, or....

It now seems that the process is to be expedited to move the "clean" Continuing Resolution out of the Senate and throw the ball back into the House where Boehner will have to do something or take the blame. And the blame works both ways, pass a bill or don't, someone is going to be upset at the Speaker. Problem is, this isn't the only problem with the economy, the Debt Ceiling issue could, in fact, be a worse shock to the system, the financial system which is only now getting traction in growth and employment that actually approaches a recovery.

As to the president and the administration, this could be Br'er Rabbit situation in that if the individual mandate is the proposed cost of passage of either the Continuing Resolution or the Debt Ceiling extension,could give cover to a oncoming train wreck of consequences where things could get really rocky as implementation of ObamaCare is going to have problems, many of which are similar to the now postpone employer mandate provisions.

It is going to be an interesting weekend across the nation as this all plays out, eggs and ham included.

Obamacare gets funded even if government shuts down and we go over a fiscal cliff.  Republicans are willing to destroy the country for nothing.  

There will be no concessions from Democrats, the ball is in the Republican court, but the government will shut down.  Even they can't stop what they started now.
