It seems that we finally have bipartisanship in Washington, and most are against "limited" bombings of Syria. If we do bomb them it's very likely that they will bomb Israel and other countries, so how about this.

We label Assad a war criminal. We freeze his bank accounts immediately, and we freeze the aaccounts of his family. We also freeze all bank accounts of eveyone in hi cabinet or inner circle and we freeze the bank accounts of Syria. Then the other nations who believe that Assad used chemical weapons should turn their backs on Syria and halt all trade. Let Russia and China support Syria, who cares.

The president saves face. We don't have to worry about retaliation. No civilians are killed in random pin point bombings, and maybe we can have the Congress agree on something.

Just a thought.

You got my vote.

To do any of this we need international cooperation which is not coming.   Otherwise, all that would happen is the cost of doing business rises for Syria and those wanting to back Syria and make money for middle men and other money laundering intermediaries.

The Assad family has a lot of money already buried throughout the world to use if they are pushed or run out of Syria.

WASHINGTON — Opposition to U.S. airstrikes against Syria is surging, a USA TODAY/Pew Research Center Poll finds, despite a White House campaign to convince Americans it is the right course ahead.

By more than 2-1, 63%-28%, those surveyed Wednesday through Sunday say they are against U.S. military action against the Syrian regime for its reported use of chemical weapons against civilians. In the past week, support has declined by a percentage point and opposition has swelled by 15 points, compared with a previous Pew Research poll.

So what do we do exedir?

See the Russians are Coming.....

With a solution no one thought of, including John Kerry.  To be fair, no one expects Islamic Countries to be reasonable about anything, at least that's what we're used to...
