TBD

TBD on Ning

As we head toward fall are you anticipating some good reads?  I'm next on the reserve list for Louise Penny's new book.  YAY!

Am currently trying to get through C. J. Box's stand alone THE HIGHWAY. I'm not enjoying the read as much as his Joe Pickett series.

Just finished Mistress by James Patterson and David Ellis.  I rated it about 3.5 out of 5.  I have read all 9 of David Ellis's books and would recommend all of them as being better.

Have been thinking of you, Ray, as am currently riding along with Reacher and Susan in NEVER GO BACK.  Have you read it yet?

Rapa, my library provides me with all the books that I could ever read, but they are a little slow in getting new books to me, maybe because they have over 30 branches to distribute them to.  However, I did get notified today that Never Go Back has arrived at my neighborhood library.  Soon I will be reading it too (like later today or tonight).  I will be looking forward to your review, which may be more critical than mine, of course.

Just finished reading it -- and I enjoyed it -- I was glad he finally found Susan.  I would say more, but I don't want to spoil it for those who have not read it.  I thought it was better than his last book and well worth reading.

Finished it last night!  Agree with Glenda!  One thing I especially liked was learning Reacher's theory on DNA.

Rapa, I thought Never Go Back was one of his best ever.  By the way, Olivia is now in the fourth grade and went to her school book fair yesterday and bought 7 books.  Last year she was reading children's fantasy, and now she loves historical fiction.  I trust that she will get to mysteries and thrillers when older.  I will have to direct her to Jack Reacher then.  Ray

We know where Olivia got her "Bookie" gene!  Wonder if she's started reading to her little brother?

Reacher...I'm not going to have in hand for another 3 weeks...DRAT...I remember when we could "shelter" a thread and have a discussion with no Spoilers. Well...adapting as best I can.

Adrian McGinty book..."Breaking Glass" is now just getting engrossing. Love Irish writers...used to have a link to a list of Authors.

My Daughter, Jay Jay is requesting I read "Shades" guess I'll request at library...she knows I do mostly Audiobooks but says...NO MOM...gotta skip some stuff...lol~mlo

Reading my free book borrowed from the Kindle Library, "The Fort" by Aric Davis. http://www.amazon.com/The-Fort-Aric-Davis/dp/1611099390 This is a gripper, as a Vietnam Vet is terrorizing Grand Rapids, Michigan, killing young girls he transposes for the girl friend who jilted him.  Three 12 year old boys see him in action and report to the police who botch the investigation.  The kids decide to go after the crazed killer themselves.  Lot of action in this page turner. Then it's on to book two of "A Game of Thrones" with "A Clash of Kings" as the George R. R. Martin fantasy epic continues.  I am going to read one book a month, coupled with the HBO series.

I'm 3/4 way through The Highway...

WOW! didn't see that coming! No spoilers... Have to finish it and will report back later.

Carci...hummm - I gave up on this book about 1/3 way thru...maybe I should go back and revisit?  Don't "report" for a bit, okay?

Actually, I need to research some new books to try...

Tomorrow night starts the Pre-View of Books for Sale at Library - so perhaps I'll "get lucky" ...tee hee.

Did I mention that I can't wait to read Lee Child's latest book?

Mandy - I'm soooo waiting for Game of Thrones - at least I know that will keep me "satisfied"...ahem...if you know what I mean?
