I have been reading Mitch Rapp's exploits for several years now.  I think I read "American Assassin" last, or maybe it was "Kill Shot."  Every time you got angry at the terrorists, you could read a Flynn novel and get some satisfaction that some body is paying these guys back (at least in a tale of fiction).  It is a shame to see him succumb to cancer at such a young age.  Of course, his hero risked his life at every turn.  There are a couple of others writing this genre out there.  I especially like Daniel Silva.  http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/Daniel-Silva?r=1&utm_medium=cpc...

I like Daniel Silva as well. Many years ago I read several Robert Ludlum spy novels, until each new one started to sound like his previous ones.
