Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

This was a very unusual book for me. But at the same time it was interesting. Its about a boy who tries to uncover the truth about some strange stories of "Peculiar" people that his grandfather had told him when he was growing up. There's a little mystery, supernatural and time travel involved. I think I read somewhere it is a teen book but I just happened to see it for cheap at a used book store after I FIRST saw it in the new releases at Barnes and Noble. It's certainly very imaginative and not simple like you would think a "kid's" book might be.

I checked and found that I read the book in Nov. 2011 but for the life of me can't remember the story!  Will have to refresh my memory.  Found the library slip but didn't record any notes.  The title of the book is what captured me!

I know I read it too but for the life of me I can't find it in my spreadsheets. It was the title that hooked me in too Rapa. Seems like I enjoyed it tho'.

I read it in December of 2011... 1 1/2 years ago.  I remember it better than most of the mysteries I read, which tend to flow together in my mind... much sameness.   This book was definitely different and memorable...  it was a strange and interesting story and it reminded me of the movie 'Big Fish'.
