This is a busy time of year with graduations, weddings, yard work, Spring cleaning (ugh) ....you name it! So-o what's everyone doing???
Our daughter from Virginia has been here the past week. Much fun having her all to ourselves! She stopped on her way to Phoenix to see her children and granddaughters.
What's keeping y'all busy??????????

I'm on the waiting list at the library for Girls of Atomic City; can't wait to read it too!
I just finished another Alexander McCall Smith, #5 of the the Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency of Gaborone, Botswana, "The Full Cupboard of Live." Love the books in this series, as the local characters are rich with the culture of a modern day African city. Next on the list is "The Forgotten," by Baldacci.
I have been sitting around for a week and a half waiting for one of the two copies of "Under the Dome" to get back to the library. I imagine some readers have a hard time getting through the 1100 pages. I gave up on it about 3 years ago, but I really enjoyed "11/22/63" so I am going to give King another try. It is soon to be a TV series.
Great hearing from you!!!!!! Keep happy and stay well!!!!
No, I usually don't use my tablet to connect here, since it's slower than the laptop or desktop. I don't know about the autocorrect feature on it; I did figure out how to turn it off on my iPhone but don't know about the tablet since it's an android.
HA! It is nice to have someone like you on the Team - most folks who are expert with the communication actions are...um, er, uh...not seasoned veterans - know you are willing to explore all the dynamics of the latest devices; their limitations and victories!
So in my 'hood - it has been summer for a few days...now back to Spring? Maybe even frost tonight?
Found Six Years by Harlan Coban in the den bookshelf - could swear I tried to get engaged...but gave up - will do a re-try. OH...dropped Live by Night after over 1/2 way through - it is about rum-runners in the Prohibition Era - lotta guns firing, dead men on the ground - just couldn't handle.
Paris by Rutherford - don't like his Politics - but maybe worth a shot - only about 1200 pages? 30+ discs?
Our County Library going thru an update on Software - so I'm struggling to review what we have on hand.
Guess I have on my "cranky-pants" - I'm such a happy camper when reading a good book, too.~mlo
Just lined up a Kindle schedule:
--"Thunder Dog, the True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog, And the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero" by Michael Hingson
--"The Light Between Oceans" by M. L. Stedman
--"The Round House" by Louise Erdrich
All are very reasonably priced on Amazon Kindle, so I decided it wasn't worth the trip to the library.
I am still busy with some "around the house fixing up" and throwing away some of the stuff I've accumulated in nearly 3/4 of century of living and accumulation. We still have packed up boxes from when we moved from our house to our condo 15 years ago. In a more "emergency" mode, I need to fix the back door screen as the dog knocked it off it's hinges in pursuit of rabbit that was too tempting to ignore.
