A COZY SURPRISE!

Imagine my surprise yesterday when I brought home a reserve from the library and discovered it was a "Cozy" and the first Harlequin, to my knowledge, that I've checked out. So-o, I'm curling up with THE APPLE ORCHARD by Susan Wiggs. There's a long reserve list for the book so it seems to be popular. BTW, absolutely love Isabel Allende's MAYA'S NOTEBOOK! Highly recommend it!

Have read 100 pages and the book is pretty good and moves along. Nice descriptions of California's Sonoma wine country.

Received library notice today that .....AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED by Khaled Hosseini and WHISKEY BEACH by Nora Roberts have been shipped for me. Will pick them up later this week. Am having a reading bonanza!!!

THE APPLE ORCHARD was really quite a good read!!! Today picked up .....AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED, WHISKEY BEACH and THE REDEEMER. Will have a busy three weeks as none can be renewed. Guess I'd better have at it!!!!
