Can You Guess These Classic Books From Their Phantom Covers?

Here's a lesson in frustration...at least it was for me!  It 's a quiz where you try to guess the name of the book and the author by looking at the cover, which has been vacuumed of the same.  This is actually the 5th round and there are links to the earlier quizzes, if you're as much a glutton for punishment as I obviously am.  For the record, I never got more than 2 right in each round and hadn't even heard of some of these books.

Well that was fun - depressing, but fun! I tried all of them. Got some on each segment, some books - never heard of them!

I flunked!!!!   Wish it had been multiple choice!!!!!  At least then you can guess....  :(

Made me realize that I have never even heard of many classic books. 

Got a few but I failed miserably...  lol

I read all of Daphne du Maurier in my youth... how could they have missed Rebecca. I thought a couple of those old mansions might be Manderley... sigh!

How do you access the first four quizzes for this?

In the second line it reads, "We’ve done this a few times before (here, here, here, and here)".  If you click on each of the words "here", it will take you to a previous quiz.

I went back to the "here, here, here" and took those quizzes. Did better on those.  Got three on the middle two, and two on the last one.   I think because we never saw the "original" covers is what made it so difficult.  Fun though!
