Although he had been living with cancer for 11 years, Roger Ebert's passing came all too quickly.  Thanks for sharing his Obit, unfortunately unlike Mark Twain, he cannot say it was an exaggeration.  Rest in peace, Roger Ebert, you lead a good life and will be missed.

I used to view his show with Roeper, his co-host who also died much too early.  I am always a little saddened when folks that have been a part of my life experience pass away.  I am especially saddened when they are younger than me.  I recently spent the better part of a week in the folds of "Tandia," a South African epic story that continues after the tale told in "The Power of One."  I was saddened to read that the great Australian writer, Bruce Coutenay, has passed away last year.  He had written many great stories in his time.  I believe "The Power of One" is a story for the ages.

Rest in peace  Mr. Ebert...  I so enjoyed listening to your reviews.
