Good one. And around here, the nursing homes charge more like between $6,000 to $7,000, one even charges about $8,000!

From what I've heard, people actually did lock up their "troublesome" elderly (or any "troublesome" relative) in attics, basements, etc. back in the day. Ah, homosapiens; the more I learn about us, the more I appreciate the "lower" animals.

I know. There was a case recently in our state's capital city; a "troublesome" teen had been locked up in a basement by his parents. Just awful.
