Very fascinating book by Will Schwalbe. When his mother is given a terminal diagnosis, they form a two person bookclub. Fascinating list of books they read plus the author delves into their past lives. "Together they find that reading isn't the opposite of doing, it's the opposite of dying".

Phyl, déjà vu!  Today I was sorting through some articles I'd clipped awhile back and found the review of this book!  Had been meaning to read it and forgot.  Thanks for the reminder!!!!  Unfortunately no one in my family is an avid reader except for facts. That's one reason I enjoy BOOKOHOLICS!

Thankfully, I have a family full of readers. Both of my daughters love to read as does my granddaughter and even my 15 year old grandson. Really miss having my sister to share books with but glad to have the others.

I have no one to share my books with either, just my neighbor, lucky we both like the same kind. Also have a guy friend that  we share, but he only likes mystery. That is the good thing about the book clubs, opens my mind to different books and get the chance  to talk about them, often finding that there is something they saw in the book that I missed. As soon as I get out to buy a new gift card, plan on buying this book on my NOOK.

I have a friend who is an avid Nook reader and we share authors.  We like the same types of stories and like to discuss the books we read.  I think the book you mentioned would be very interesting and plan to add to my list.  Thanks for review Countryphl.
