well duh...I couldn't have hand picked a better song for you Tim....lol.
There's no tomorrow.
The only ones that I usually go all the way through on purpose because they're showstoppers: It Had To Be You and You Made Me Love You. These are really appreciated by the soap suds in the sink while washing dishes.
Perri!!!!!! I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!! I would pick, And I Love Her, I Feel Fine, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Baby You Can Drive My Car, Revolution, Rain, Ticket To Ride...... alright! someone who understands!!
Any Beatles song! My favorite
Did any of you see Dhani Harrison on the Tonight Show last night? He was on with his group, New No. 2 (I'm not sure that's how it's spelled). (thenewno2) He was lead singer and played guitar. The first thing I noticed was him, of course, and then listening to the song thought, Yeah, that's gotta be him, because it was all unique-sounding - melody, rhythm and all.
Didn't see Dhani Harrison but I'll check Hulu or Youtube. Here's my favorite Beatles progeny - I always thought he should have had more success than he did
I sing all kinds of things all the time. Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift songs are ingrained in my brain. I sing a lot of Broadway stuff because I was weaned on it as a kid.
But, I think I know Barbra Streisand's stuff the best. I love her songs. There's usually one for every mood I'm in.
And, when I'm in the mood.....and it's a good day for the "pipes"......I have been known to do a couple songs from The Student Prince.....or My Fair Lady......or anything where I can see just how much of that soprano voice I used to have still works. When it does......it gives me great pleasure. (I can't speak for the neighbors, however ;-)
