December 2012
Alas, The year is coming to an end. Am planning (best laid plans) to visit here at least one time a day. And to make December bright in my eyes. Love and laughter and good riddance to 2012.

my apt complex does that every 3 months, i'd never heard of it before. somehow it's reassuring to know that where i live isn't the only place in the world doing that nonsense!

finished my Christmas shopping today -- would you believe, at the liquor store? small bottles of everyone's faves, to go with the assorted gift cards. all that remains is to package the "stuff" into gift bags, and i'll get that done this weekend!
and i forgot to get tortillas, when i went to the store last weekend. i use those for bread, so needed more -- well, walked out of the store with a $65 receipt, and i wasn't even hungry when i went in. sigh.... i'm hopeless.

9 times out of 10 I leave the store with more than I had in mind. I like tortilla chips with a little melted cheddar and sour cream or guacamole. :)~Speaking of liquor stores I have now have an ample supply of black strap rummmmmmmmmmm.

i'm so glad you introduced me to that!
i got, for my son, a bottle of dark Capt Morgan -- he likes the spiced rum (ick and ugh) -- but this one should be a sipping rum, not a mixing rum. we'll see. he and one of his girlfriends plan to stop by next weekend....
