How many of us were alive then?  How many of us had family affected?

I was 1 ½. pretty sure this day had no effect on me, but I still pooped my pants.

My father was sent from NY to CA to do some chemical stuff for the government, his brother flew bombers in Europe.  My Grandparents were scared stiff. the family used to go to the movies regularly just to see the newsreels...

Lets see Uncle Gorden was in the Marines...

Uncle William was in the Army Air Corps

Uncle Bill was in the Navy

and Dad was working on at top secret Army Air force base...

Me I was born when it was over in July of 1945...And nobody talked about it except Grandpa, and WW1....?

I wasn't born till it was over either, I did go to the memorial in Hawaii and saw the film there. It was a moving experience. 

The attack that got us into WWII, I wonder if things would have ended sooner if we were in sooner...oh well, we'll never know.
