TBD

TBD on Ning

It's obvious that Labor Day has come and gone.  Some of us decorated for Halloween, some decorated in harvest themes a la Thanksgiving....

...and then there are those who went straight to Christmas.

The stores have their stuff out, do you?

The word holiday derived from the notion of "Holy Day", and gradually evolved to its current form. The word holiday comes from the Old English word hāligdæg. The word originally referred only to special religious days. In modern use, it means any special day of rest or relaxation, as opposed to normal days away from work or school.

I don't know why people get their panties in a knot over what's said this time of year.  It's whatever one is comfortable with.  I'm just glad to wish folks well and happy I don't hear a "f-you" back.

Happy Kwanzaa Jaylee!!

That is one DEAD rosemary tree.

I knew I couldn't do it...no matter how hard I tried.

First thing you should have done was take the foil paper off the pot. I suspect the poor innocent tree died of rot rot. Tsk, tsk.

Stop yelling at me.

I let it dry completely between waterings...just like your stupid instructions said.

My instructions also said to take off the foil paper. ;-)

That isn't foil.

I'm going to kill me some mistletoe next.

Please don't kill the mistletoe!!

Shouldn't you be in bed?

Be sure and but a blanket on your Rosemary tree, may get down to 32 tonight.

We are all gathered here today to mourn the passing of Rosemary. As her sage friend Oregano once said, thyme heals all wounds, but Rosemary will be missed. Leaving a whole in our hearts, and our mouths. A hole that may only be filled with Rosemary bread, Rosemary chicken, and possibly Rosemary leg o' lamb. As we all know, Rosemary led a short, sweet, yet pungent life. Her last few months on this earth were spent in foster care, where sadly, she was abused, neglected, and eventually left to drown.

Rest in peace Rosemary.

Foster care nothing!  I adopted her, she was bought and paid for.  She came to me after being mangled with a pair of pruning shears and I think she died of those previously inflicted wounds.

Due to the postmortem condition of the body which has been stripped of its outer layer, no autopsy is to be performed.
