hey, she did it!  thanks for opening an August thread, Thalia!

i'm home, and very much looking forward to sleeping in my OWN bed tonite!!!!!!!

having been to several "meets" and met many more TBDers one-on-one, it truly is a great thing!  this meet wasn't something i could do, but i am certain they're having a grand time!

i was right, sleeping in my bed truly did make a difference to my joints!  yippee, i feel better already!

and swimming today, being in the water, was marvelous!

Hi, Lynn and Thallygal!

George and I couldn't go to this year's meet either, but we wanted to.  We're just having "one of those years."

Enjoy your evening!

Good morning all. Have a day filled with love and laughter. Glad you are in your own bed Lynn and goldilocks. I inderstand one of thoses years. Looking on Facebook, seems we missed a lot of fun. Off to get ready to go to work. Richard and RRC ,hello when you arrive.

just looked thru Deb's album of pics.  they had a really grand time.  our turn will come....

it occurs to me that the meet up was labelled "Moosie's Crossing" yet Moosie himself vanished long before MyAtlantis ceased, and even Robbie who owns this group hasn't bothered to stop in for weeks now.  sigh.

Richard, looks like you're truly overheated, while the midcontinent experiences a cold front.  no justice in life, huh?

looks as tho' i'll be getting more "consulting" hours, which will absolutely help the cash flow situation, since i'm burning thru assets at an unsustainable rate.  no, i don't wanna' work twice as hard, but i AM thankful for the opportunity!

ok, it's friday.  the last time anyone else posted was tuesday (thanks, Thalia and Goldilocks.)

is it time to shut this down?  i can't even remember the last time Robbie (our only administrator) showed up.

Here I am girls!!!  I can't believe how time has flown by.  Much to my disappointment I have been immersed in those two projects.  Changes changes and more changes.

I am happy to see you three are still here.  I am soooooo tired of all the fun and photos in FB.  I am glad there was a good turnout and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.  All the organization Dana and Mike put in paid off royally.

It has cooled down, at this hour, from 111F to 100F today.  The house stays in the low 80s but my office, upstairs, gets into the high 80s with its air conditioner going full blast all day.  We are promised it will cool down tomorrow.  Ha!

Sharon signed up to attend a conference in Sacramento in November.  I told her I would go with her.  We are looking forward to it.  Our last trip there was one of the most memorable.

Lynn and Crystal, I am glad you two are home safe and sound from your respective trips.  Thalia, here we are and looking forward to your visit to Portland and the Oregon coast next month.  Any job application news?

yowza -- 111º???  that's just horrible!  i'm so glad you have an a/c unit in the upstairs, at least!  houses there (and indeed, in the entire northern tier) are designed to HOLD IN the heat, which just makes it miserable when it actually gets hot.

Sacramento?  never been there, but i'm wishing for a good time for you two!

i'm glad, REALLY GLAD, you stopped in, Richard!  working that hard is a mixed blessing, i do understand....  looks as tho' i'll be doubling my hours (again) but that will absolutely help stem the unsustainable financial hemmorhage that i've lived with the past 5 months, so i can't turn down the offer.

It's hard to have to accept the work because of finances.  At least it is there to accept.

indeed.  still, not like it'll be fulltime, tho'....

thanks for understanding!
