My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who lost their lives and were injured during the Dark Knight Rises premiere in Aurora Co.. People go to the movies to escape, not to fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
What a cruel, cowardly thing to do. What's wrong with this world?
I feel a little uncomfortable posting, but, I must move forward...
Please enjoy your weekend. And please be safe.

Nice thoughts E. My family is still in shock. My young ones don't understand why this happened.
How can anyone make sense out of this? Clearly this is a person in great pain, so why didn't he just kill himself? Why do this to others? I just don't get these maniacs....there really should be a law passed as to what punishment people like this. Let it be as extreme. I just don't know what to think right now, just let the punishment fit the crime dammit....
What rational human being would stop going to the movies just because ONE nut, in ONE state, in ONE town walked into ONE theater and shot the place up? Did people stop going to the mall after the first mall shooting? No. Did kids stop going to school after Columbine? No. So why should people stop going to the movies? I'll tell you why: once the media got their hands on this story they made it their goal to scare the hell out of every person that made the unfortunate decision to turn on their TV. Nothing sells like fear and the media knows this better than anyone. Just bombard them with 24/7 reports about the gory details of the shooting and you can be sure that everyone will stay glued to their TV sets. It's a shameless and disgusting exploitation of a horrible tragedy and they should all me ashamed of themselves. Ha, who am I kidding, there's advertisement dollars to sell!
