...The Ranch's answer to you -know - what - with no rules.

Go ahead...tell us what you're having for dinner - we can't wait! Got a cute pic of kitty peeking out of a paper bag? Post it! We live for that stuff!

Math addict? How about a refresher on the Pythagorean Theorem?

Like macaroni and cheese? Tell us why!

So even if you're not a writer or a poet (yet), there's still plenty of fun things to do at the Armadillo!

Oh baby, oh baby!

I shouldn’t have to ask why the restaurant food keeps getting poorer and skimpier. Times are hard and corners are being cut. Some of my favorite places are replacing the good stuff that made them special with the cheap and the bland and the boring.  Too bad, Slacking results in fewer customers and even deeper cuts in response.

The corner place which boasts of its Louisiana cuisine started its days with a great bowl of shrimp and sausage gumbo for $3.49. It’s gone – replaced by a so-so rice jambalaya for 5 bucks. The catfish platter was a treat. Where can you catfish in suburban Sacramento? Not there anymore; it’s been replaced by what they call a “fried fish filet,” which is one of those frozen planks in the shape of an isosceles triangle you can buy cheap in bulk, anywhere.

*Sigh* Guess I’ll have to go back to making my own.

Sounds like a candidate for Restaurant: Impossible.

I just got a spam email: "Someone has a crush on you" from one isadoreparamore.  So help me, I found that very amusing.

If I see one more photo of Julian Assange with his tousled, windswept hair staring majestically into the distance in front of a black background - I'm gonna puke.

So far this "world visionary" is wanted for questioning for possible sex offenses, has knowingly received stolen property, and recently jumped bail to seek refuge in yet another foreign country.

Tsk...tsk...tsk.

'Allo!

Just returned from Paris and Amsterdam, an unbelievable honeymoon. Called my mother to say hello and she immediately picked a fight. C'est bon!

Cheers!
