Emails!

Emails among friends have been going out like crazy lately, and thats good. But in some cases, they are getting forwarded on to people who aren't friends, just friends of friends...
A wonderful lady sent an email out explaining how to do forwarding of messages to a few, everyone, or just one...and a couple other things concerning emails here.
I am posting it here so you can have access and that it helps you.

Just a few friendly tips on sending e-mail here.

1. If you want to send an e-mail to several of your friends, click on "Choose from Friends" under the "Send To" box in Compose. They won't show in the Send To box, but if you check next to their names, the e-mail will go to them.

2. If you want to send a message to everyone in a Group of which you are a member, go to the group and select Send to All Members.

3. If you receive an e-mail that has been sent to a whole lot of people and you want to respond to the sender, select Reply NOT Reply to All.

4. If you want to reply to several of the recipients of that same e-mail, you can click on Reply to All, then click on the "x" next to the names of those that you don't want to reply to or that you know don't want to get the reply.

Thanks for this Jan, was just trying to figure it out...didn't want it to go to a gizillian people, just two...so just wrote two separate emails and copied and pasted the email into the second one i sent...so thanks...i feel i have much to learn on this site

Thank you Jan. I sure hope everyone understands this. I haen't yet complained, because I just go to action and select and then delete them all. I don't even check the name of the sender. Unless it is very important then they can email me .

Thats what I do also, Joe...I tend to see if someone put in subject box that its important., and delete everything that looks like it does not concern me.
